Our Staff come from a variety of different backgrounds and nationalities giving us access to a wide range of skills and languages that has proved to be an asset when providing care to our multicultural comumunity and large tourist population.
Dr Kees Bakker (Kees)
Is the owner of the practice. Interests are in chronic diseases, acute medicine and he is also interested in skin checks.
Dr Geert Dijkwel
Geert is one of our doctors from the Carnarvon Regional Hospital, he is based at the Medical Centre on Wednesdays. His interests are obstetrics and general practice.
Dr Nnaemeka Eze
With us since May 2013, Nnaemeka is one of our senior doctors. He has a certificate in skin checks and his interests are in geriatrics and family health.
Dr Thi Nguyen
Thi is a graduate of the Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, HCMC, Vietnam. He has special interests in General medicine, Child health and Skin medicine including office based minor procedures such as excision of skin lesions.

Danny has been working at the medical Centre since 2020. Danny’s Areas of Interest are: General Family Medicine, Mens health, Mental health, Chronic disease management and Minor surgical procedures.

Barbara is a GP registrar who's interests include woman's health, pediatrics,public health, sexual health, chronic disease and Implanon Insertion/Removal. Dr Barbara will work Monday to Thursday..

Jillian has worked at the Carnarvon medical centre since March 2004 in the role of Practice Manager. She has been instrumental in the establishment of the Rural Clinical School (medical students) and has recruited overseas trained doctors and junior doctor to our practice. Jillian loves working in such a positive vibrant environment.
Karla
Office Manager
Originally from the Philippines, Karla has been at the Carnarvon Medical Centre since July 2011, starting as a casual receptionist and progressing to a more permanent part-time role. Karla speaks 5 languages and is a vibrant happy team member who fits in very well with our practice.

Lena has been working at the Carnarvon Medical Centre since October 2017, she’s very energetic and quick to attend to client’s needs. Lena enjoys all aspects of her job.
